summarising rule of thirds

The rule of thirds is applied by aligning a subject with the guide lines and their intersection points, placing the horizon on the top or bottom line and the verticle on the left or right of the choosen image. This creates an easyer way to see an image in a different sprspective, for example if an image of an object is taken just front on then it can be quite boring but if it is more to the left or right and has things ion the image that meets at one of the horizontal or vericle lines then it would catch the views eye more.
